CFO pushes for competitive Philippine schools in the UAE

ABU DHABI — Seeking to align Philippine education with global standards, Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II underscored the urgent need to enhance the competitiveness of Philippine Schools Overseas (PSOs) during a high-level mission to the United Arab Emirates.

The mission, which included a courtesy call on Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Alfonso Ver at the embassy in Abu Dhabi, centered on the growing demand for quality Filipino education as the community in the Emirates continues to expand. The visit is part of the CFO’s broader mandate to regulate PSOs and ensure they remain viable pillars for the Filipino diaspora.

During his meeting with Ambassador Ver, Ang highlighted the results of consultations with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).
