CFO Signs Partnership with EBA to Provide Educational Resources for the PSO
10 March 2026 — The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) formally entered into a partnership with the Encyclopaedia Britannica Australia (EBA) to promote knowledge, and strengthen learning for the students of the Philippine Schools Overseas (PSOs).
Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II led the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing with a message focusing on how this partnership can help prepare the overseas Filipinos (OFs), particularly the young generations to come. On the other hand, Mr. Terence Ng, Director of the Channel & Business Development (Asia), recognized the role that EBA will play in elevating the capacity and capability building of the PSOs. USec. Ma. Arlene S. Borja, the CFO’s Executive Director, and Mr. Christian Chico, Business Development Manager, also participated in the MOU signing. Also present in the MOU signing were Ms. Rowena Jubinal, Mr. Alvin Cabuco, and Ms. Frances Flores of the Project Management Division.
The EBA will primarily conduct a series of online educational webinars for the PSOs from April 1, 2026 until March 31, 2027. They could also provide and promote other resources, programs, or products that can aid PSOs in the different delivery approaches of the Philippine curriculum overseas.
